Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Writer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team.

What you'll be doing...

• Create and update instructions and playbooks based on the release of new application versions used globally in manufacturing plants.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to install and configure virtual servers.
• Document step-by-step software installation and application configuration procedures tailored to plant needs.
• Gather high-level requirements and test and troubleshoot issues related to new code or configurations.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and implement AI-based solutions.
• Contribute to security lifecycle maintenance ensuring third-party applications comply with IT direction.
• Work closely with development and support teams to maintain uptime, reliability, and security.

The right person has...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience leading technology teams with strategic and tactical responsibilities.
• Strong teamwork focus and ability to foster collaboration within and across teams.
• Knowledge of applications hosted on Kubernetes, focusing on scalability and fault tolerance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate and translate feedback and solutions.
• Creative problem-solving skills that deliver elegant solutions to complex issues.
• Experience in IT Enterprise Security concepts and implementation.
